Opportunities to Get Involved/ Volunteer:

• Food Pantry: There is a Blessing Box behind the church building. If you would like to help us feed the hungry in Jackson, please leave your food contribution in the box. 

• Presbyterian Women Ministries (Bereavement Dinners, Church Women United)

• Funds from activities support our church projects. These activities include: Best Choice Labels, Caps for a Cause, Bazaars & Garage Sales, and Trivia Night.

CHOIR:

First Presbyterian has a dedicated choir which sings for every Sunday worship service, September through June. We think this is an awesome opportunity for generations to work together for the glory of God. Singing provides unique assistance to mindful prayer and everyone is welcome! Please consider joining us!

Christmas and Easter Flowers: 

Christmas Poinsettias and Easter Lily offerings are welcomed and purchased collectively. Flowers may be purchased from your favorite florist and delivered by you (since there is often no one at Church to receive them). Other special remembrances are welcome (occasionally from funerals or weddings). Memorials and honorariums are printed in the bulletin and newsletter.
